I’m a writer and teacher living and working in and around Boston. I’m a Massachusetts native, a graduate of Vassar College (Environmental Studies, 2005) and an MFA candidate at Emerson College (Nonfiction Writing, expected May 2014). I’m curious about the world, hopeful about humanity, and eager to learn. My training and my interests range from 19th-century American history to ecology to nonprofit communications to climate change policy. I write essays, articles, and other stories. I teach writing and English. When I’m not clicking away at manuscripts or lesson plans, I like to hike, watch Patriots football, and curl up with my two handsome cats.
